Angela's 1992 show season: 5 X GCH, 5 X BOB, 1 X Resrve, 1 X
first. Angela was a beautiful doe and one of our favorites. She was
large, long legged, long necked, very dairy, and smooth. Her
udder is well attached with pleasing teats and lots of milk. If I
could improve her I would give her a higher rear udder attachment
and stronger pasterns. Angela was All-American 3 year old in 92
and winner of Harvey Considine's Judging Contest (see Goat D
pages 12 and 27 of July 93 Dairy Goat Journal). Angela's GCH
daughter, Annie was 3rd place 2 year old at the 94 Nationals with
1st place udder! GCH Ariel finished as a 2 year old in September
96 with her first Best in Show win and has since gone Best in Show seven times.
Angelina, her 1996 yearling
daughter, had a dry leg and was 2nd in her class at the 96 Nationals. Ambrosia, another Angela yearling milker, was 2nd in
her class at the 1997 National Show. Ambrosia also won a Best
Udder in Show at a Florida show in 1998 and is now a finished champion. Angela's 3 milking
daughters won produce of dam at the 1996 National Show. 1997
National Show 3rd place produce of dam.

Anni was long and smooth with an
exceptional udder and rump. She was not tall like her dam
and 1/2 sister Ariel. Anni
first freshened as a two year old in early June 1994 and became a
permanent champion when she was about 6 weeks into her first
lactation.
Annie was reserve All-American 2 year old Togg in 1994. BOB
twice in 95. 1 Annie's four year old Grand Champion
daughter, Antonia, was first place and first udder in her class at the 2000
National Show.

Ariel was long, level
and tall with a well arched, wide rear udder and plumb teats with pleasing
size and placement. Her udder shape was globular, not wedge. Her rear udder
could have been higher but it wasn't low. In the fall of 2002 at age eight she was awarded Best Udder of
Breed at the very competitive Virginia State Fair.
Ariel had best in show wins in 1996, 1997, 1998,
1999 and 2003 for a grand total of 9 times Best In Show. At the 2003
Virginia State Fair on September 27 at age nine with nine freshenings Ariel went
Best in Show and Best Udder in Show. On October 20 Ariel suddenly died.
On March 9 Ariel had a buck and two does sired AI by Whinchezter. The buck
is still here and for sale.

Dona looked wonderful until she died at age nine. She was so deep, elegant, up hill
and
dairy. Although her udder shape was not as globular as her dam's, she had
her dam's well delineated, pleasingly shaped and placed, plumb teats and her
fore udder was possibly slightly better than her dam's.

Belle was an old style Togg (not tall) with a flawless udder. I
love the shape, the rear udder height, the fore udder, the shape and delineation
of the teats. Belle was our first Togg to finish last year with a Best in
Show.
Appraisal: 6-05 90 EEEE (Excellent head, shoulder assembly, rear legs and
rump) Belle had a mysterious shoulder problem in 2004 so we decided to let
her go.

Classic, deep bodied Tassel was one of my favorites. Her udder
was well attached with excellent teats. We would have liked a more globular shape, more
milk and stronger pasterns. Her daughter, Tapestry, was the 2001
Toggenburg Junior National Champion. On Friday, Feb 13, 2004 Tassel had a single
doe! Nothing unlucky about that. Timber is big and beautiful.
Tassel passed away in 2006.

We miss Bridget! Plumb well shaped teats. Attractive udder shape. Not shown
in 2004. In 2005 she went to the ADGA National Show and took 3rd place 3

Arena, like her half sister, Donata, is exceptionally big and tall. I like
